and third-party applications.
• CUA has no support for some user-friendly
features such as self-service requests (that allow a user to reset a password,
for example), requests for new authorizations, or support for delegation and
approvals.
For
these reasons, SAP is suggesting that clients transfer from CUA to SAP Identity
Management - a comparatively painless process due to the support for CUA within
SAP Identity Management.

from CUA, you obtain flexible devices for self-service, selected
administration, and approval workflows. And because of SAP Identity
Management's capability to control access preferences across different systems,
SAP clients will find they can better handle user access scenarios.
